I feel that I will have a good essay and good recommendations.....so what do you guys think? What are my chances at Scholrs or Honors or Gemstone>?

Why worry at CP? I'd suggest applying to BU with those stats.

You are a shoe in for Maryland and for their honors program, but I wouldn't consider, as someone has suggested, BU over Maryland. Maryland is half the tuition plus, in my opinion, better than BU for many majors.

Does Maryland have a better mathematics/Statistics major? That is what I plan to major in.

I honestly can't say. Why not go on their web site and check out their majors. Maryland is, however, quite good in engineering; thus, I would imagine that math would be good too. However, if you want math and statistics, you should definitely check out NYU's Courant Institute, which has been reknown in math for years.

i would definately go maryland over bu, cheaper in state, better programs and acc sports

with you stats and proximity to virginia, why not apply to uva as a reach? if your essays and recs are solid you have a decent shot and the programs and environment cannot be beat
