I'm applying to seven schools, but I'd only like to know what you guys think about Claremont McKenna, Georgetown (first choice as of now), Middlebury, Stanford, and Yale (the other two schools are safeties). What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your help!

Recommendations: Both of the teachers I'm asking like me, and I did/am doing pretty well in their respective classes.

Let me know what you think!

Stanford - Reach
Yale - Reach
Georgetown - Match/Low Reach
Claremont McKenna - Match/Low Reach

I think you have a pretty good chances at Georgetown and Claremont actually. But I think you need some more leadership in your activities. As for Stanford and Yale, they’re reaches for everybody.

Best of luck!

your ACT score is a nice advantage, but i think you should consider retaking the SAT II’s for some of the schools.

overall… i would say that you have a reasonable chance at Gtown, although it varies with the school you choose. SFS would obviously be harder than the college.Claremont

Stanford, and Yale - reaches, although I think Yale could be a possibility with higher scores on your SAT II’s.

I was hoping to get 750 or higher on my Subject Tests, but I REALLY don’t want to take any of them again, so I think I’ll stick with what I have.

Thank you both for your comments.

Thanks for your opinion! My safeties are SLU and George Washington.

what is your course load like? if its not the hardest possible, thats going to hurt you a little for Yale and Stanford (reaches)

Gtown, Middlebury I can see you getting in, but its not a sure thing.

McKenna I have no idea.

That ACT score is nice and will definitely help, but it really depends on your course rigor.

Chance back?http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1007132-chance-3-3-senior-year-ive-done-what-i-can-do.html

When I’ve talked to my counselor in the past, she assured me that my course load was “most demanding.” I’ve taken at least 2 Honors/AP classes every year.
