Change to what I planned to Phase 1

I'm reconsidering what I planned to Phase 1, because I'm not sure what would make my schedule better.

I'm currently planning on taking EE20N, EE40, and CS 61C

Both EE40 and 61C are filling up quickly, enough so that I planned on signing up for the 8pm labs in 61C and the latest Monday Lab/Disc for EE40.

I'm definitely putting EE40 for phase 1, but I wanted to know whether it would be better to phase 1 EE20N and get a good lab time, as my time for 61C is one of the least ideal ones.

I know at least for 61A, they were able to fit everyone in, and I don't mind terrible lab times (although I would really like to avoid a Friday lab), so can I get away with doing 61C phase 2, and putting EE20N phase 1?

Thank you very very much for any help.

So to get this straight, you want to Phase I EE20N over 61C for a good lab time in EE20N?
It seems like there’s still plenty of open seats in each section of EE20N and enrolling in it in Phase II doesn’t seem that bad. It seems unlikely for the good lab sections to all fill up considering that most people have had their Telebears already.
61C on the other hand is a bit confusing. It’s claimed to have at least 100 open seats and yet there’s 11 on the waiting list. If I were you, I would try getting on the wait list for one of the better lab sections, as long as you’re less than 4th on the line.

So, if I’m enrolled in the 8pm section and there are 0 people on the waitlist of the section before it, it is worth switching over to that?

I would think so. You’re likely to get into 61C regardless and even if you’re waitlisted in a good lab section and you eventually get kicked off, you can just go back to one of the other lab sections. The chance can only benefit you. But anyways, you’ll probably get in simply because you’re first on the waitlist in a group of 35+1 people.
What should wary you though is that in order to do this, you’d probably have to drop the class first and according to the enrollment information, there’s 11 people on the waitlist with over 100 open seats. It’s not really much to worry about, but it’s certainly something to notice.
