Changes for HARVARD, UPenn, MIT, JOHNS HOP...

Don’t bump your thread 10+ times per day. Just chill…

Seeing as your scores have already made the cut for most of these schools, I’d like to ask how good a writer you are. The adcom will look at how well you can put your experiences into your essays. Even a math / science guy like your needs to be able to express himself clearly and concisely. What goes into your essays will reflect how introspective and rational you are, as well as what matters most to you. If you want to stand out from the pack of engineering majors, you have to show the colleges why you would excel in that field.

Other than that, I don’t see any obvious loose ends with your application. By the way, did you win anything in Siemens? If you didn’t, I don’t think it’s worth putting into an application. I was a finalist for TASP (one out of 130 nationwide) but I didn’t make the cut. That wasn’t noteworthy.

I think some of them like Harvard are reach but why not, it does’t hurt. I will apply to them too even I know it’s risky. Good luck!

please, stop bumping your thread. also, you posted to ask people to chance you. don’t just denounce everything someone says. I’m not sure what you want to hear by posting this thread. I’m assuming you applied. now just wait.

I haven’t. How would I apply to all of these early?

Applying to a school doesn’t mean you applied early. RD apps can be submitted whenever. Good luck to you. Be patient.

You really need to stop bumping your thread. You have everything you could possibly want to know regarding your admission chance besides the way to hack into the admission officers’ heads and control their decision making abilities. Bumping once every hour is excessive and pointless, especially for you. What else do you want to hear? Nobody on here will know for sure where you will get into and thus where you should invest money and time for writing the applications. Just figure out what you want in a college and cross out the ones you wouldn’t care to attend (i.e. the ones which you are thinking about applying to only because you want to have bragging rights). Good luck and please let others have a turn.
