Can I make changes to essays, EC or awards between EA and RD. If I apply to Northeastern EA, then want to change something in my essay for RD to BU, can I make this change? Will the changes transfer over to my EA apps if early enough? Am I locked into my essay once I submit to one college?

What are you asking? If you can change your app between the EA application deadline and the RD application deadline? Aren’t EA decisions usually released in between the two app deadlines?
If that is how the school you’re interested in works, you might either be accepted, rejected, or deferred to the RD round. Only the third option would give you an opportunity to send an update.
I was wondering if I could change my essay or EC after applying to my EA schools for all my RD schools. @bodangles
I sent a completely different common app essay to my RD schools from the one I sent to my ED school. You send a different app to each school, just with the same template. The change does not “transfer over” to any other app. Any app you have submitted is already submitted.
