Changing from RD to ED II?

Will any colleges that let you change from RD to ED II now? Mainly, Colgate and Carleton

Colgate website says
“Regular Decision applicants who have met the January 15 deadline can convert to Early Decision II by March 1.”
https://news.colgate.edu/2018/11/when-applying-early-decision-is-the-right-choice.html/

Carleton’s notification date is in a few days’ time so it’s probably too late for them, but you can call admissions in the morning and ask.

Also are you sure you can afford either of these if accepted? or do you need to compare scholarship offers?

@booper I’m an international student needing a lot of financial aid. I shotgunned a lot of schools, but my confidence levels are at an all time low after getting rejected ED and ED II and I realised that I don’t particularly want to take a gap year. I do have a local safety which is pretty affordable and cheap, but I’d much rather not go their as it’d be really limiting. (Higher ed works differently here). So I was considering changing from RD to ED II for Colgate.

(Sorry for the text wall btw)

Does Colgate meet need for internationals?

@SJ2727 yeah it’s pretty generous too

Good to know - good luck!
