Hi all,

I'm an MCB major with premed plans who's, by credit hours, a Junior. I've managed to keep a 4.0 through general Physics, Chemistry, Calculus, and Biology, but this MCB 250 is absolutely killing me. To be honest, it was never a really captivating subject to me in the first place, I just went with it because I was told that it was "good for pre-meds". But there is absolutely no way I'm going to do well in this class (I could probably pull a C if I'm lucky).

Tomorrow's the drop date and I'm struggling with this. I can't decide if I want to drop MCB altogether, and instead put major focus into my OChem class that I'm taking and the others. I was told by the course coordinator that if I drop by tomorrow, it won't even show up on my transcript, which is definitely a good thing.

Anyway, I hate having to ask this on a message board fairly anonymously, but this is probably the best place I could ask. What do some other people think? Should I stick with this MCB and see it through or just accept my failure and attempt to major in something else, maybe IB or Chem (or heck, I've pretty much got my pre-med classes taken care of...I could do something non-science entirely like Religious Studies or Business, right?)

If anyone could give me some advice, I would deeply appreciate it. Thanks.
