i am currently accepted as Electrical Engineer. i am thinking about transferring to biomedical engineering or computer engineering. is there a possibility of being rejected again if i change my major. has anyone here done it yet? will they just leave the major that i have unchanged if there is no room

I also wish to change my major [from electrical engineer to Civil engineer]. Can changing majors after you've been admitted really affect you?...bump

I was wondering the same thing.

I want to do Pre-med and biology/Asian American Studies but I was admitted as "Asian American Studies" because I put that as my 2nd choice (I thought it`d be okay if I just put "Undeclared" >___<).

fsheee tell us ur stats!!

My stats are on the "UCI Class of 2012" thread :)

I don't want to see this thread go unanswered, since I was also wondering about the same thing, but I'm changing from Electrical Engineering to Computer Science at UCSB.

I don't know about changing majors between the schools of Irvine, but it's do-able within your school for sure, at least before your SIR is submitted.
