Changing Majors?

Hi Guys,
I’m going to apply to georgia tech, and I’m not sure if I want to study Chemistry, ChemE, or Computer Science. Most of my extracurricular activities indicate that I am interested in Chemistry or ChemE, so I am thinking about applying to one of those and possibly changing to Computer Science later if I want to study Comp Sci.

If I start as a Chemistry major, how hard is it to change my major to Computer Science? And how hard is it to change my major to Computer Science if I start as a Chemical Engineering major?

I believe 40% of GT freshmen change majors. You can change majors easily with in schools

Thanks, but chemistry, chemE and computer science are all in DIFFERENT schools at Georgia Tech.
Is it easy to change majors between schools too or only within schools?

@BlueSnail After you get in, there’s one form you can fill out online and change your major to anything. I am planning to do the same thing.

GT’s College of Computing is very crowded. So if you take too long to make up your mind it could be tough to transfer in. Chemistry or Chemical Engineering are not so crowded. But it is accurate that for now Georgia Tech admits to the school as a whole. I think they do look at intended major but not a quota so far for computer science, but it is very very crowded in that school right now, they are trying to hire CS faculty as are most schools.
