Hi Everyone, I am hoping someone can help me with something very important. My son absolutely loves Holy Cross (we went up to campus for so many events and tours and he interviewed this summer) but he did not apply ED because he was worried about the uncertainty of the aid. But I know that we will do everything we have to so that he can go. He has worked so hard and I want to see him where he hopes to go. So here is my question , I know that it is the “11th” hour but tomorrow, 12/15 is the last day he can switch his application from RD to ED . I checked the portal and I don’t see how to do it? Also, it is a Saturday tomorrow so I don’t know if he will be able to reach anyone in the office? He is very qualified (as far as I understand…) I just don’t want him to chance it. Help! Does anyone know how to do what Im trying to do for him? Thanks so much!!! Im so grateful for any help or advice. ( I can reach his guidance counselor, but Im trying to gather info before I talk with her, thanks again!)
I’ve heard that this is an option. I believe you speak with your guidance counselor and have her draw up the early decision agreement, and then simply reach out to holy cross directly.
Would love to here an update on whether your son was able to apply ED! If not, just know that he’ll still do just fine in the admissions process! As a current HC freshman, I can safely say that I made the right decision when applying here and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
