FYI if you guys wanted to know, I asked an anonymous question on tumblr about whether or not we woulld receive merit aid in the virtual packet and they said we would.
Their newest twitter update says: Our director of admission is hard at work signing all our Early Action admit letters! Decisions will be sent out soon future panthers!
…but how soon is soon?? : 
They should know we don’t care literally at all about some stupid signed letter lol…just TELL US ONLINE THEN MAIL US THE STUFF
Admission packets are mailed two to three days after the decision comes in. My guess is that they’re working hard to stuff the packets before closing, and will update the portals right before they leave for the day.
But from what I heard, they PDF the packets to the portal, isn’t that correct? If that is correct, then all the letters would need to be signed and SCANNED before they can be posted so it might take a while longer…
How do you get to your portal?
Yeah they said we will be able to see packets virtually, WITH merit aid. So I guess scanning them will take time as well?
Do you think they’ll do letters, emails, or application portal?
Do you know when merit awards will be announced? Will they be awarded with decision letter or at a later date?

They usually send you an email to check your portal when the admission results are uploaded. The decision will be on the portal and then the letter/ packets arrive a little later at your house. @sanfranphysco
Is anyone else freaking out, incredibly anxious as to when we are going to hear? It is not so much the waiting, or even the decision that is bothering me, it is that they won’t even give us a day to expect a decision.
I am sure we will find out tomorrow at the latest. Usually it’s a Friday. It’s really getting to me too!!!

The Chapman University Office of Admission wishes you and your family a warm & bright holiday season.
I nearly died!! Then saw it was just a general email…it states the following:
Early Action: Decisions will begin rolling out before December 23
When a decision is ready:
Once an admission decision is ready, the applicant will receive an email (similar to the example shown here) prompting them to login to their Admission Status Page. Upon logging in, the applicant will be able to view their admission decision. Additionally, admitted students will receive a mailed admission packet soon after their status page notification. If you are unable to login - use the “forgot password” link on your Admission Status login page.
For Early Action applicants, these are the possible decisions you might receive:
An offer of admission
A roll into Regular Decision requesting your updated senior grades
A denial
@Jslam321 and everyone else: don’t have a mini heart attack like I just did when you see an email from Chapman in your inbox. It is just a newsletter with NO acceptance info aside from the fact that EA decisions will begin going out BEFORE Dec. 23rd, film production in early February, and RD after March 15.
