I have yet to see a proper thread for Chapman University’s Early Action Class of 2021. Feel free to talk about your statistics, application, or anything in between. Does anyone have an idea of when their decision will be released?
I applied as a Film Studies major. I’m so anxious to hear back; Chapman is one of my top choices!
Last year, they sent out mail packages on December 19th. So students probably received their decisions around Christmas?
Oh I see, but we get our decisions via email first, based on Chapman Admissions’s twitter/ tumblr
I’m thinking it’s going to be this Friday since that’s what it has been in years past. The Chapman tumblr said that they are gearing up to release admissions so hopefully this week??
Shoot …they make it seem like it’s already happening based on their Twitter feed… and what do they mean “Admits go out first”…does that mean before defers or rejections?
They admit 1 person, and then after that all other decisions for everyone else are released. It’s “tradition”

Santa Clara wasn’t supposed to come out until the 23rd and it came out today… so fingers crossed Chapman is not too far behind.
LMU wasn’t supposed to come out until around December 15th either and it came out tonight!
Nothing yet…! but know of two that got heard back from Santa Clara and LMU and both were accepted. Come on Chapman…we’re dying here!
They said on Tumblr they’ll be giving out more “hints” throughout the week. -__- It shouldn’t be like a scavenger hunt.
