Haven’t heard back yet. CONGRATS EVERYONE!!!
Do you guys think I’ll hear back in like 2 weeks? Since my HS transcript was 2 weeks late?
@amberly99 I’d assume you’d either get a decision or midterm request within the next few weeks! I wouldn’t worry about it tho, your app was in on time so you’re fine
Congrats everyone! I’m waiting to complete my midterms & then I can submit the midterm grades for final consideration. Hoping the decision is fast once the midterm grades are received. Anyone else waiting like me?
is there an fb group for transfers
haven’t heard back yet! my college transcripts were late! but do they need our midterm grades to make a final decision? because i haven’t been told to send those yet
Anyone know how financial aid works? Do we have to wait for a packet in the mail or is there some way to access it online? I really really wanna accept my decision but I need to know about financial aid. Hopefully if it is in the mail it comes quickly!
@screenname2019 On the bottom of your acceptance letter click where it says March 12, 2019! It’s the scholarship/FA offer
@90smix that’s just scholarship info from the school. I’m pretty sure other aid from FAFSA comes later
Cause there’s still federal and state aid that’s separate from the school/scholarships
@screenname2019 Ohhhh then yeah probably in the mail though some schools send it in e-mail
@screenname2019 depending on when you submitted your FAFSA (and if eligible, CalGrant), you will hear back via mail. I submitted mine early February and they just got it today so they just said to be patient. They should mail it out within the next two weeks (if it’s already received) or so, but definitely mail. You’ll get it via mail first then your portal. Good luck
@acceptmeplz376 how do you know they received it?
@screenname2019 I had a question about where to submit the Child of Chapman scholarship application so I called and then I asked whether my GPA qualified me for the FAFSA (turns out all you have to have is a 2.0 so I’m good) but she said they actually just received it this morning so that’s how. Mine was processed on 2/13/2019 so I’m assuming it takes exactly 1 month for them to receive it. I also made sure to use the IRS retrieval tool so that made it easier and faster for them to receive my info.
Has anyone heard back today?
Hi all! I’m hoping to transfer into the Dodge College school of Filmmaking and was wondering if any of you fellow transfer kids have heard back about a talent biased major? I heard they can take a little longer. ugh! The wait is brutal!
Not yet!
Hi @IWantLearning33 ! I am also a transfer applicant for Film Prod at Dodge. I haven’t heard back yet either. I sifted through the message board for 2018 Fall Transfers and a number of Dodge applicants received invitations in April to do a Skype interview. We might have a while to wait still… it sucks
woof! Well, let’s hope they like us so much there is no interview needed! lol
Hey guys. I did a tour of Chapman yesterday while on my trip to CA. I spoke with an admissions rep and they said that even though they started sending out transfer decisions, they are nowhere close to being done with notifications and to not stress. Also, she told me about Dodge taking longer to get back with decisions since they have to do their own review process of the portfolio we submitted so Dodge transfer applicants won’t hear back for a little bit longer than other programs. They are also going on spring break next week so they won’t be doing portfolio reviews between now and the end of the break. I know its frustrating but DO NOT ASSUME THE WORST! Best of luck to all of those who have not heard back yet and congrats to all who did!
