Chapman TV Writing Opportunities

Hi all,

I was accepted into Chapman’s MFA in screenwriting for Fall 2015, and i’m wondering what the opportunities are like for students to meet and make contacts with television networks. My interest has recently been intensely piqued by tv writing, and i’m curious if the program is conducive to helping one break into the industry, through any means.

Can’t speak for the MFA program, but my S is currently a junior pursuing his BFA in TV, and I know that producers, writers and actors often address his classes.
