Hi I was wondering if anyone knew anything about chapman and lmu's photo programs and how they compare and which is better? Any info helps. Thanks

Based on your field of study according to CityTownInfo.com, Chapman ranks higher than LMU in Photography and Commercial Art.
Here are their links.
[Chapman University, California](http://www.citytowninfo.com/school-profiles/chapman-university)
[Loyola Marymount University, California](http://www.citytowninfo.com/school-profiles/loyola-marymount-university)

I just visited both. LMU by far had a better facility/equipment assortment and seemed a better more flexible program.

What is your career goal? There are different areas in photography; commercial photography, fine art, and photojournalism. For example, if you plan to be a photojournalist, a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story while commercial photography is photographic work done for commercial purposes, such as magazine advertising, publications, brochures, etc. At Chapman, the sky’s the limit. You can double major or take a major and a minor combo, perhaps major in photography and minor in advertising at Dodge, or a minor in T.V. or broadcast journalism at Dodge. It’s up to you. Have you visited Dodge College while you were at Chapman? If you haven’t, you should. Dodge has the best facilities of any film school in SoCal and probably in the nation. LMU film school can’t even compare. Bottom line is go where fits you. Best of luck.
