Yeah, I know -- but that stuttering in the title . . .

Ch-ch-ch-chances! (Turn and face the strain.)

(I would ch-ch-ch-chance you, but I'm just another neurotic applicant and don't really know what I'm talking about. Littleathiest will help you, I bet.)

Hey there!

As (z) guessed, I'd be happy to give you my thoughts on your chances. Overall, I agree with you in saying that Vassar is going to be a good fit or match for you. Your GPA, rank, and SATs are all strong, your classes sound suitably challenging, and you have a nice mix of awards and extracurriculars. Basically, there's a lot of stuff for me to praise, and not much to critique :-).

That being said, be sure to express in your application to Vassar your passion for the school. Thanks in part to its selectivity, Vassar doesn't "have to" accept you just because you have a strong profile... they're not only looking for smart, qualified students, but also passionate ones who are actually interested in attending the school. I know you don't mention where Vassar is on your list (which is fine), so feel free to ignore this if Vassar is one of your top choices. It's merely meant to be a suggestion for you to think about because I'm unclear as to whether "target school" means "good fit school" or "likely/safety school" to you. Best of luck!
