Cheaters!

At my school, we have a huge problem with cheating valedictorians. Unfortunately, my class is no different. Plus, i'm 2nd (or 3rd - i haven't checked in a while).

It's widely known that our valedictorian cheats, yet nothing's been done about it. we've informed the teacher of the AP Chem class, where MOST of the cheating occurs, but he can't do anything because there's no proof.

anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

what should you do? well first of all I would suggest not being a prick about it. What comes around goes around anyway. So the guy/girl is good enough at cheating to not get caught. Sucks for you, but they'll pay in the future.

^ words from God

They probably won't pay in the future.

Such is life! Form your own principles, try to stick to them.

Your a snitch, either shut up or cheat better than the val so you can take his spot.

Boo hoo 2nd is so bad

If you really want to make it to the #1 spot, be a better cheater.

If not, screw her/him over REAL bad. If you want to provide proof, use your camera phone and take a picture and e-mail the picture to the teacher.

ew i hate you OP. get a life and mind your business.

I don't think you should tell on the Val or you'll get beat up or something when he finds out
If you want to take his spot, you should either become like him or just study...!

Obviously I'm jealous of the OP for his rank too... BUT. Cheating is everyone's business, and the school shouldn't ignore it.

Fhollis, it's not our fault that you can't properly hone your cheating skills.

And OP, I want to tell you that you made the wrong decision in telling the teacher.

You probably are hated by the teacher now.

If the students who cheats find out, you are toast.

All of CC is probably going to hate you now. (Except me. :))

^ I see people cheating all the time but I never say anything to the teacher. I'm not a snitch and I really don't think it's my duty to tattle.

messed up. i say become the vals friend and learn his methods from him

Um dude, why do you care what other people do? What they do is their problem. NOT yours. If you're really that stuck up and obsessed with class rank, why don't you cheat better than him and surpass his ranking?? Telling on him would just be idiotic and foolish. I mean, it's ok that he cheats, he'll just have to suffer the likely consequences, as he will most likely not succeed in college/later life. However, I would like to note that a small proportion of cheaters ACTUALLY will succeed in life, because they know WHAT TO FOCUS ON. Instead of wasting time on b.s. classes like APUSH or AP Comp, they spend all their time on summer programs, research, high quality stuff, college classes, etc. So, they still have a really strong work ethic, despite this apparent cheating. It's only because these classes are pointless and worthless.

I like our val, he sees other people cheating, but he doesn't and is too mature to snitch on people

Obviously he does it a lot, so get proof of it and screw the kid over. When he gets a F in the class(es), laugh at him.

throw a brick through their window and light their lawn on fire.

egg his house/car. steal his phone and send dirty txts to all his girl contacts. take poops on his lawn. fork it. egg it. tp his house. make a fake email of him and send "stuff" to school admin.

i can't believe how many responses this got. some of them are really funny (intentionally or unintentionally). in reality, there probably isn't anything i can do about it. it just sucks that i don't (and won't) cheat, and end up paying for it. thanks for the support from some of you, and to the rest of you, well...
p.s, the val's a girl.
