ive only left a voicemail for the regional director. for the office lady she told me not to panic just yet. but she didnt seem like she really knew anything

bump 10 char

I'm going to Upenn this fall and if the OP is stupid enough to not only have his phone on but to also answer the text, he/she deserves to be rescinded

Tell me what the OP could have possible thinking when he/she kept his/her phone on during an AP exam. It makes no sense. And to text back ....???

OP, I wish you the best of luck. It was probably nothing more than an moment of madness.

i was thinking, my friend needs help, i'll help him... obviously it was the wrong thing to do. but thats beside the case. so no one knows huh? i guess i'll just have to wait until next week and see..

what test was it?

lol i feel for you. same thing happened to me, except my friend copied the entire test. ill be watching this thread to see what your regional director says. i posted a thread like this and somebody said that we might possibly have the opportunity for a retake. best of luck :)

ducked tape, it was the stats test

dfindividuals, what did you principal/gc say about it. i dont know what to do right now. i mean its the weekend and noone works so these next two days are going to be agonizing

bump againn

Have you no conception of how lucky you are? How do you know that if you don't get rescinded, you're not just going to repeat the same thing throughout life?

my principal and guidance counselor said a report would be made to collegeboard, and they dont know collegeboards procedure

my school is taking no further disciplinary action against me, it wont be on my record

i was gonna call CB myself but i guess ill just wait to hear what they tell you

Midway down the page a poster wrote that his/her friend was rescinded from U of P for cheating on her AP Physics exam...

You will. If Upenn finds out about this case of academic dishonesty, you will surely be punished.

Yea, the thing is to not let them know about it. Try your best to not let any school administrators or anything like that try and report you. Show your remorse and whatever from now. Don't even talk to college board though...they have absolutely no idea what college you are going to. And if they ask, do not answer them, you dont have to. The only right college board truly has when you signed that sheet is they can invalidate your score and that is it..they are not allowed to do anything else. The one thing you have to worry about is school administration, but i think you;ll be fine with that.

Let us know what happens.

whoops then i shouldnt have called my regional director and leaving a message asking what the policy was and saying i was involved in a cheating deal...

yeah...why the hell did u answer that text??? seems a bit unreal...why would ANYEONE do that

but the college i selected to have the scores sent to was penn. if college board cancels this test score, wont penn realize something is up or no? will it just say score canceled or like cb wont even include stats as a test on my score report
