<p>You must be an outstanding musician! Your ecs are pretty good, but your ACT score is the thing that’s dragging you down. Have you considered trying the SAT (imo the act a little easier!)? If you do better on that, 33-35, your chances will increase drastically. Assuming you did do well on the ACT: I think UOP would be a high match/low reach, USC high match/low reach, UC Davis match, UC Berkeley reach, UCLA low reach, JHU low reach, etc. Use the time before school starts to study! :slight_smile:

Why is UCI a low match? I thought UCI is more selective than UCSB.</p>

<p>UCSB matriculating students stats:
avg GPA: 3.96
avg SAT: 1872</p>

<p>UCSB has a slight edge over UCI. </p>
