Checking Financial Aid Status?

Is there anywhere I can go (i.e. a website) to check my financial aid status for Penn? I just wanted to make sure they get all the documents they need by their deadlines.

Thanks in advance!

I don’t think there is a website to check the financial aid status. I think upen wille send you an email when all your documents are completed

Okay, thanks!

You should have access to Penn.Pay through the ED portal (if you applied ED) and it will tell you if your aid award is available yet. At least that’s how it worked last year…

If you applied Early Decision and had all of your forms filled out and submitted by the ED deadline (unfortunately, I don’t remember what that was), then your aid package should’ve been posted on the Penn Online Decisions webpage where you logged in on December 10th. There are links on the right-hand side of that page, and one leads to financial information.

If you are a Regular Decision applicant, then you should be able to track the status of your financial documents via the MyPenn Applicant Portal (which has the same username/password as- but is different from- the Online Decisions page). The Applicant Portal also has a link to the Penn Financial Aid Supplement.

As far as I know, unless yours is a special circumstance, Penn deals with its applicants almost explicitly through those two pages. I was never contacted via email. If what I’ve explained isn’t ringing any bells and you want more specific information, definitely contact Penn Student Financial Services (SFS) by phone or at the Franklin Building on Walnut. In my experience, they’ve always been happy to help! Best of luck!

Thanks for the replies!

I didn’t apply ED, but I don’t think the MyPenn Applicant Portal has anything regarding financial aid tracking - I can only find the link to the Penn Financial Aid Supplement. But maybe I’m missing it; I’ll have to check again. If I can’t still can’t find it, I guess I’ll contact SFS. :)
