Financial Aid

How do we know if all the forms that are needed are received?

I heard that if any financial aid person calls you to tell you that you are missing something, it means that you a most likely admitted. Is this true?

That is absolutely true...

I'm pretty sure they received all of my financial aid stuff, though.
Hopefully, they might've replaced something and I get that phone call from heaven!
Did you send all your financial aid stuff in, Wharton411? If you didn't, then you might have something to look forward to...

Yes, I did turn all my stuff in on time.

Well I still havent sent in my PROFILE but I sent in the Penn thing. I didnt have much time to complete it and my dad hasnt been of much help with it. :(

Im going to send it tonight. I called them and they said it really doesnt matter if u send it in late, u just get a late fin aid decision. The amount will still be the same.

hey, ns347, you should wait and hold off that PROFILE! Wait and see if you get a call from them saying they need it. A sweeter way to find out you got accepted.

Does anyone officailly know when decisions come out? 15th or 10th or whatever?

Dont they finalize decisions by the 1st so that the financial aid came assess packages?

No, I think they continue into the first week of December.
I'm basing this on, of course the article http://www.csmonitor.com/durable/1998/12/15/fp11s1-csm.shtml

But that was 1998, it might've changed... WHo knows??

getcrunk, that would be awesome, but not so good if I didnt know how much money I would be getting. :(
