<p>With a 5 on the AP Chem exam you can either take the honors Chem course or skip the first semester. What would people who have taken Chem 115 recommend? I was really good at chemistry by the way.</p>
<p>if you have any plans to be pre-health take 115a. you need to take both semesters of general chemistry at college, regardless of your AP scores.</p>
<p>if you are engineering or are going for a masters or phd in the sciences then just go for 105b.</p>
<p>If you go straight to Chem 105B, should you carefully review AP chemistry notes in preparation (in case I forgot all about chemistry)? What topics were covered in 105A?</p>
