Chem-Free Housing

Hi guys!

I'm currently a freshman living in College-in-the-Woods but next year I would love to move into chem-free housing. I am not really clear on the process for that for anyone other than a freshman (it seemed a lot easier to sign up as a freshman!). I want to continue living in CIW so I am not sure which building is actually chem free...

Does anyone know which buildings (any on campus) are chem-free or the process for a continuing student to sign up for it?

Thanks!

When you first sign in to the housing website it’ll show you some things you can agree to. One is the Chemical-free Housing Application and Agreement. Just make sure you say yes to that and then sign up for a room on the chem free floor. I’m not sure where chem free housing is in CiW. I’d ask your RA.

Log on, then click Available Rooms on the left.

Select CIW from the dropdown, then the building. Chemfree rooms are labeled “Chem-Free”

when they say chem-free, does that also include alcohol free?

again: Yes.
