<p>I'm planning to enroll in the College of Chemistry at Berkeley. I'm wondering how rigorous and difficult to maintain a high GPA it will be for chem majors. I'm leaning towards a premed track, but I'm not hell-bent on it. However, I'd still like to maintain a high GPA for graduate school.</p>
<p>I read in some other threads that the classes chem majors are required to take are REALLY difficult, and unless you have a study group, you won't survive.</p>
<p>Would it be smarter to switch to another major, especially if you're leaning premed?</p>
