chem or chE then MBA?

<p>I need some advice..
My major is chemical Engineering and I will graduate in three year; however, If I change my major to chemistry, I can graduate a year earlier.</p>

<p>Since I am planning to get a MBA degree from a top business school, is my undergraduate degree really matter? I am aware that Chemical Engineering degree is harder to obtain and provide broader jobs than chemistry degree (BS), but I think Chemistry+MBA is pretty much the same with chemical engineering+MBA in term of salary and job prospects, is that right?</p>

<p>No it's not the same because you'd get an MBA most likely to advance your career in a specific career like chemical engineering. MBA will help you as a manager or if you want to become one because it teaches you managerial skills.</p>
