Chem/phys at Duke

How strong are the chemistry and physics departments at Duke? I'm considering the school for undergrad, and I plan to go on to graduate work(but probably at a different school). I don't know which one I like more (I actually plan on double majoring) but I want to be a strong applicant for the best grad schools regardless of which one becomes my preference. Thanks for all your help!

I posted a bit there about the Chemistry department. In terms of being a good graduate applicant, if you do well you will definitely be a strong candidate coming from duke, IMHO. Get yourself into a lab early, do some great research, and there will be a graduate school for you.

Don't know much about physics minus the fact that I did really horribly in General Physics I and II:(
