your statement makes no sense. did a new section open in john's class or christina johnson's class? what are you concerned about?

christina johnson is an INFINITELY better teacher than any of the other options for 6A. if you've been reading this forum for the last few weeks, you'd know that by now.

So i waitlisted for Dr. john like a week ago. but i got an email today saying that there are new sections open for his class. When i tried to sign up for the new class, a list came up of open spots in chem 6a. There i saw dr.christina johnsons class so i signed up for it. But i dont know if thats okay since i got the email to sign up for dr. John.

why wouldn't it be ok? registration is a complete free-for-all; if you're permitted to register, you can register for whatever suits your fancy.

Are There Any More Spots Open? Im Risking Giving Up My Chem Spot In Brydges?

i asked my friend to sign up but he only saw b09

which is brydges?

Anyways, thx guys

really? i don't see any new sections...

i hope stacey brydges is a good teacher... :)

just signed up for her class ....

hey OP, how did you find the list of all the open sections? cause i only got the code for B09.

i heard Professor C's midterm exams are 11 questions -- all MC. that's horrible...gl. even if you're smart, there's always room for making stupid mistakes on exams. for me at least, making one on each exam was entirely a given, and sometimes i would even get "lucky" by making more than that:P luckily, many of my exams were composed of 20 or more MC questions

i just went to schedule of all chem 6a classes. Then i clicked on any waitlisted section id, from there there was a list.

I've been checking the Chem 6A sections and there haven't been any new sections opened up since they were originally opened... and there isn't a B09... I'm not sure where you are seeing this... are you an incoming freshman? Please clarify what you see.

just go to webreg and type in chem 6a, press list sections, and click on any full discussion as if enrolling.. and then it gives the option to enroll in A09, B09 etc..

What's Czworkowski like?

status: incoming freshman.

check your ucsd e-mail.

if you waitlisted for 6a, you should have received an email with a code you can input that will directly allow you to add section

Oh crap! So I was waitlisted for Christina Johnson, but then I switched to Brydges (for an open section). But are people now getting into a new Johnson section?!? (If so, please send me the code to get in)

EDIT: I figured out how to get in but the new sections are already on waitlist!!! Can anybody tell me how many people are on that waitlist.

may i please have the code for the johnson section? thank you!

Ok, it wasn't too hard to figure out. You just add the next section number in the sequence. But I was too late and these "hidden" sections are already full :(

What's Czworkowski like?

Single choice. Feel better if you sign up Czworkowski's lecture?
