<p>Why is it that a liquid has higher pressure than a solid? I always thought solids had more pressure.</p>
<p>One more thing: do molecules like to go to higher temperature or lower temperatures? (I’ve obviously forgotten some basic things :P)</p>

<p>P=kT, so since liquids have a higher temp, they have higher pressure… kind of obvious.</p>
<p>Molecules tend towards randomness (high entropy), and thus as entropy goes up enthalpy goes down…so lower temps.</p>
