ChemE Schedule..Thanks 4 Help

After a gillion years of trying to figure this out..

Chem 4A (4)
Math 1A (4)
ChemE C96 Seminar (1)
Theme Seminar (2)
Integrative Bio 35AC (3)
Near Eastern Studies 10 or Philosophy 25A (4 units)

Total: 18 units...

Do you guys think this is unmanageable?
Between Near Eastern Studies & Philo 25 A...which one is easier to follow along & do well in (honestly)?

What do you plan to major in? What year are you in?

I think that would help (other, more qualified people than me) answer your question.

I'm Chemical Engineering & Frosh.

Keep in mind that 3 out of the 18 units are just seminar.

What do you think?

I usually tell CoC freshies to take it easy their 1st semester (13 units). Chem 4A is a shocker for lots of people in that it's pretty time-consuming lab-wise, and the curve isn't as generous right now as it used to be (only 18% of Saykally's fall 2007 class got an A of some sort, while 15% of the class received a grade below a C-). Your schedule isn't unmanageable, but you'll probably enjoy it a lot more if you dropped one of the humanities classes. I'm also a ChemE and I can tell you that you'll have some room for them later on.

bump 10char

But it's only 15 units of "real" classes. The way the announcement explains it is that we won't have much room later on...

Especially if I end up wanting to graduate early..

graduate early?

I think you underestimate the rigor of the chemE program.....

15% receive below a C- .. omg = =~

But AP helps.
