<p>I am going into Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and I know that the Chemical Engineering program is highly ranked, but where does it stand in other engineering fields and sciences?</p>

<p>I'm not sure if this is the case, but my concern is that a school that is strong in only my disipline of engineering/science will inhibit the quality of my education.</p>

<p>I was also wondering how U of Minn. compares to schools like MIT and Berkeley for Chemical Engineering.</p>

<p>If you want to go by rankings, USnews consistently places UMinn near the top of overall engineering programs, but their CHEME and MATSCI programs are top-notch.</p>

<p>Compared to MIT and Berkeley, UMinn is up there with both of those schools. From my memory, USnews ranks the top three CHEME programs as...</p>
