I’m trying to compare a chemist vs a chemical engineer. I know chemical engineer mass produce what a chemist make, but not much about other things.
As a chemical engineer, what kind of work environment and equipment do you use? Also, what kind of people do you deal with?
Depends on the branch of ChE that you work in; Process Engineering? Bio/Pharma/drug delivery? Materials?
Chemical Engineering salaries are among the highest in industry. Chemists are not. ChemE’s solve complex process problems and optimize process’. They also place lots of people in investment banking. Not a major if you are not wanting to work hard. Its one of the most rigorous majors out there.
