I know I should talk to a dean soon but I think it would be nice to have some perceptive of a chemical engineering student too. I am an incoming sophomore in Rutgers SAS and decided to change from cell bio and neuroscience to chemical engineering. So far I completed chem 161/162, calc 135/152, aped out of bio, intro to experimentation, psychology(social science elective), space place and location(my other social science elective), basic composition(first semester), and expository writing(second semester). I finished of with a 3.4 gpa (if only I didn't have to take basic comp and expos it would be higher ), and I am currently registered for multivariable calculus, organic chemistry, analytical physics(trying to get into general physics or honors physics), microeconomics, and taking physics lab in winter most likely since I see no chance of getting into lab :(. Most likely am going to take statics/matlab together the semester after, these two classes are what I am worried about the most since I never coded before and hear bad experiences of statics. So am I on the right track, has anyone transferred schools or fell a little behind the curriculum, and do engineers have minors?
