So I am studying at my local community college, and plan to transfer to a different school at the end of the next semester, and I have a few questions.

How hard is General Chemistry in college if you didn't take high school chemistry? I did take it in high school, and got a good grade in it, but didn't learn anything about chemistry in there (it was a non-honors/AP class and the way the teacher structured it I could do well without learning the material)...

Because I am worried about taking college level chemistry without having a previous chemistry background, I am thinking about taking intro to chemistry at my community college this next semester and then taking General Chemistry 1 and 2 when I transfer. Is this a good idea? I'm scared that I might get really tired of chemistry if I take an extra chemistry than is required, and then organic chemistry...

Or should I take General Chemistry 1 this coming semester at community college, and General Chemistry 2 at the university I transfer to? I am mainly concerned that the curriculum at the two different schools won't go together very well, and also that I won't do well in them without a previous chemistry background...

Any thoughts and opinions are appreciated, thanks :)
