Chemistry and Cell Biology undergraduate?

If I majored in chemistry in college, how much cell biology would I also be able to take? I want to take super advanced chemistry in college but really like cell biology.

Also, would a math and chemistry double major be possible?

I want to go to medical school later so GPA and MCAT score are factors.

A math and chemistry double major would certainly be possible although it would be difficult to fit into your schedule. Far easier would be a chemistry major, math minor.

College is what you make it. You can graduate with lots more credits than you need, or you can graduate with a major in chemistry and a bunch of cell biology classes, including graduate level chem or bio if you can convince your instructors and the admin to let you in. If you’ve the money, they’ve the time and courses. Just remember that at most schools you will have general ed requirements, too. How you manage all those credit hours and maintain your GPA is up to you. And try to get some laboratory experience that might lead to a publication, even if you’re a tertiary author.

A single major in either molecular biology or biochemistry might accommodate both chemistry and cell biology interests.

for heavy duty work… if that is what you desire

Double math/chem might be doable, but it would be hard to fit in both AND the pre-med requirements. I agree that a major/minor combination for that one might be better, or a combined major, if that is offered.
