I’m a Chemistry B.A major and want to transfer to UCB as that major. In Assist.org, it shows the major requirements for Chemistry, Lower Division B.A. and B.S.
Here are the required courses for Chemistry:
General College Chemistry
General College Chemistry II
Organic Chemistry I Reactivity
Organic Chemistry II Reactivity
Calculus 1
Calculus 2
Calculus 3
Linear algebra
Differential equations
My CC offers 3 semesters of physics
Calculus based physics 1<–Mechanic and Motions
Calculus based physics 2<–Thermodynamics, gases, optics, and modern physics
Calculus based physics 2<–Magnesium and circuits
Since my focus is on Chemistry BA, i will be done with the minimum requirements.
In assist.org, the minimum requirements are:
CHEMISTRY 1A + 1AL + 1B
MATH 1A + 1B
In addition to that, I will also be done with calculus 3, differentials, and Calculus-based physics 1 and 2
But I wont be done with linear algebra, Organic chem 1&2, and Physics (magnetism and circuits) because I will be a year behind if i did.
Will I be getting in with a GPA of 3.7 with only the classes i’m going to be done with to major in Chem BA (L&S) at UCB?
Please Chance me!
Thank you
