Chemistry June 2014 Regents Discussion

No, because a Lewis dot diagram requires that you should the electrons … You have to draw dots

<a href=“Regents Chemistry Exam Explanations June 2014”>http://www.kentchemistry.com/RegentsExams/regents_jun_2014_31_35.htm</a> awsers are being put up

I had dots too I just connected them? And got rid of the extra ones that would make more than 8 electrons

Wait isn’t the orbital the most probable location of an electron?

@littlet4lks‌ Yeah, it is. They messed up on the site.

Oh thank god!

Seriously this regents was not fair some of the question were not being specific enough, the curve should definitely be higher for chemistry -_-

Yeah it was burning because that was the only chemical reaction. @tpny1026‌

@Saswizy‌ Is it OK if I put .11M instead of .111M? The other numbers given only had 2 sig figs, so I dropped the last 1.

@connetquotreppin‌ I did that too

Guys what was the mole ratio one? I got 3:1

For question # 48 was the answer 3-pentene or 2-pentene? I put 2-pentene.

@edobbs0916‌ i put 3-pentene

@deeperplease‌ I did too

Am I the only one that was mad that there was no questions on naming? I studied that for like an hour and there was not 1 question on it and btw the short answer balance question I got 2-1-1-3

ya thats what i got @edobbs0916

What was he one with the moles and the freezing point?

I was right it was 2-pentene.

:( Got 12 wrong from MC already! I hope I did well on short answer or i failed… Ugh I hate how this year my chem teacher left midway through the year cause of pregnancy which i am happy she has a baby but everyone else’s grades suffered when the new substitute came in…

I only got 4 Mc wrong so far not bad but could be better.

For the balancing question, was it all 1’s because I think I over complicate it
