I might not be able to take AP Chemistry next year because the course is full in my school. However, I really want to major in Chemistry when I go to college. Would this be bad?

The curriculum typically assumes that you have high school chemistry, math through precalculus, and high school physics. AP courses and scores in high school may be a bonus in terms of preparation and/or advanced placement, but are not strictly necessary.

Okay, thank you. I’ve already taken a Regents Chemistry course.

You’ll be fine. Not having AP chemistry shouldn’t even put you at much of a disadvantage in comparison.

Nope, I did it.
