<p>I have a few questions. What can you do with a BS in Chemistry? Is it hard to get into graduate school for Chemistry to get your PhD? What jobs can I get with a PhD besides being a professor? Do the jobs have good salaries? Thanks! =)</p>
<p>I can't speak to the difficulty of being admitted to a Chemistry Ph.D. program, but as regards jobs, there are TONS of jobs working in private industry (e.g. pharmeceutical companies).</p>
<p>The pay in the private sector is very good, whereas in academe it is not quite as good unless you are a full professor at a big research institution. They pay the stars very generoulsy to retain them and to keep them from going into industry.</p>
