<p>My AP Chem teacher is possibly the worst teacher I've ever had, and certainly the worst AP teacher I've ever had. I've had great teachers these past four years, and my AP scores represent that, but this individual is definitely an anomaly.</p>

<p>That being said, I need to self-teach AP Chem. I don't know which books are thorough enough or which are too thorough, leading me to confuse myself even further (not needed at this time!).</p>

<p>see if you find a teachers edition of your book you can purchase. half.com is a good place to start.</p>

<p>There are many AP edition textbooks. half.com is definitely a good resource for finding textbooks.</p>

<p>Do a lot of practice problems. Sometimes you may assume you understand concepts but it's completely different when you try to apply them to numbers.</p>
