chessmaster with no social life and bad grades

I am a senior, I have a 3.25gpa and 3.75weighted gpa. I took over 6 AP classes. My SAT scores arent too good because I never have the time to finish the test. Anyway, math:620
reading:530 writing: 490 =1640total. I will be retaking the sat next week. And plan to score substantially higher on math and writing . Anyway, as of now what are my chances of getting accepted to UCF and FSU. Also, I have a uscf 1900+ rating, and i've won many chess tournaments, and I taught chess.

Hopefully someday, someone other than me will reply.

Pretty low.... who would want a no-life looser (sorry) on campus....

you should get in, if the admissions officer knows how good a 1900 is then you should get in

You sound like a great fit for the University of Florida. Their campus is full of socially inept students.

It's hard to say really. I know someone with statistics similar to yours and good EC's who was deferred (even though he applied early and his brother goes there) from FSU, yet one of my friends with lower stats than yours got into UCF for the summer term (little or no EC's). With your borderline stats, stuff like essays, recs, and EC's definitely become important.

...you're not a standout, but could still get in.

I think you a much better chance for UCF than Florida State. Unfortunately, while chess is impressive, its not a money maker like football and sports like this. But fyi, you’re a class A player, not a master(starts at 2300 FIDE score)

Although your SAT scores and GPA aren’t outstanding, I believe you still have a good chance.

Also, im in the top 5% of my class and i did a semester of track and finished the pre-law magnet
