it’s not a bad idea eating a cake while reading emails or logging into your account~

I don’t think there can be up to 70% applicants well qualified. Well, U of C is not Harvard after all. Even in Harvard, I doubt if they have so many qualified applicants.

I just found out that office of admission has early closing on 15th! (it was 18th originally)according to this I am 90% sure 13th or 14th will be the magic day! :):) :(:( I don’t know whether I should be happy or not.

Just randomly wanna share this with you…lol My friend who applied to Wellesley ED photoshopped a picture of herself wearing “W uniform”–she got the school logo on her white shirt’s sleeve. She then sent all of us /her EA or ED decision waiting ppl a picture of that, telling us to not take that pic off as the desktop until Friday when her decision is out…lol…

Again,cheers!Good luck to all,and I’m ready to get deferred…omg><

It wouldn’t be fair for them to disqualify an entire tier of students based on one characteristic (i.e., GPA). Insofar as that IS true, they must have looked @ all the applications. I’m sure some were easier to disqualify than others, but that means nothing.

As for the decisions, they’re closing on the 15th. I wouldn’t be surprised if decisions were released on the 14th.

I’m so nervous !!! Trying to stay motivated with school and focus on my massive amount of AP bio work. My friend got accepted to dartmouth and when they accept you they give you access to your class website where you can post info about yourself and chat with other people who got accepted does anyone know if Chicago has one of those?

One post from last year’s RA season has an applicant getting an e-mail like this the day before admissions were released (he and a similar applicant were accepted).

On the other hand, that year’s EA season had EA decisions released 3 days after those FA e-mails were sent out. So I don’t know what to believe :(

Oh, wouldn’t it be so heartbreaking to get double rejected in one day? I hope Chicago doesn’t give decisions on the 16th, just to save anyone that fate.

Wow, I’m so devestated to see the amount of hardcore motivation go down in the class of '14. I swear guys, by this time last year, we probably had 20+ pages of discussions counting down to EA decisions. But no, it’s good that you aren’t as obsessed. Healthier too, actually.

But anway, I actually stopped by to tell you decisions came out last week on Monday, the 15th, as well as good luck, and a reminder that an undesirable result is not the end of the world. I was deferred EA, but still ended up slightly sleep deprived at the end of my first week of UChicago finals. So there is hope. :)
