Chicago email

what are these used for? tracking? will they be used for decisions and FA tracking?

i ask because i no longer have access to the email that i created a chicago account on...i wanna know if they're super useful before i call and create a new one

You should do something about it. They appear to be pretty important. Yeah, for decisions and FA tracking. :)

For Early Action, the only emails I got from UChicago were that my application was complete and that a decision was up on my Chicago account. For the latter, you’ll generally be able to find out when decisions are up (through CC) and for the former, just check your UChicago account. However, it might be important once one is admitted, but I, personally, have no idea.

@ motion12345: Oh so there is no way to track the information?

I have no idea about FA.

No I meant the application status?

They’ll just send you emails telling you your app is complete or listing what they need. You can check in your account as well, but the email thing is easier.
