aren't we all from China?

not really. I USED to live in China in my childhood. Then we immigrated to Canada long time ago.

hey Jimmy@killarney, d'u live by killarney park? it's awesome!!

oh i get it now he/she isn't in china i anymore i thought he/she still lives in tianjin

I am living in Tianjin for now, my whole family

Killarney Park? Which one?

Killarney Provincial Park i think. It was HUGE! I guess Killarney must be a big place if u haven't heard about it.

it's a secondary school I go to here in vancouver canada

any chinese canadians living in toronto right now and applied to ivies?

Princeton
P.S. i live in St.Catharines, near Toronto tho.

I was born in China to a Hong Kong born dad and a Beijing born mom so I know Cantonese too. I moved to Toronto when I was 5, left when I was 10 for Hong kong and then left there for Shanghai when I was 12.
I applied to several LACS and Dartmouth. (asking for aid so quite a list of schools, 17 US schools in total). Accepted to Queens University in Canada ( their castle in England program).

wow 17 u.s. schools yet you are asking for financial aid. did u get application fees waivered?

half of them, plus since most of the schools I applied to were need blind , it wouldn't hurt my admit chances that much.

i see. anyone got likely letters? How reliable are they anyway, especially one from Cornell?

likely letters should be really reliable (or else that's just mean, lol)

And "chinese canadians living in toronto right now and applied to ivies" = way too many. Lol. Myself for one.

well i hope my likely letter isnt a mistake lol

hey, guys! First time being here, currently, i am in Shanghai, and will apply the J.D. this fall.

I'm in Shanghai too, good luck with your app. Do you do IB too?
