<p>I got into Choate. I’m waiting on Taft and Andover. I know that Andover only sends letters, but does anyone know if Taft does anything online? Also, is it definite that Andover letters will arrive today?</p>

<p>Waitlisted, but it wasn’t in son’s top 4 choices. I assume feedback between schools caused this. No worries in at top 4</p>

Oh well, I’ve been accepted to 2 and waiting for 4 others.</p>
<p>Actually Rad, schools that are within the Ten Schools Ass. are not allowed to discuss applicants in great detail. Choate had many applicants this year and probably just weren’t able to provide your son an acceptance.</p>
<p>Thanks Aubreygal, this one is just a tough one to swallow for our daughter, it’s a rather big surprised based on the feedback she’d gotten from two departments…</p>
<p>Starkali, there is constant communication btwn secondary schools and his current school which ends grade 9. He was also wait listed at Kent where He had 0 interest in attending, but the coaches personally called me 3 weeks ago to ask if we were going to submit application.</p>
<p>@raddad I think what starkali meant was that the schools you are applying to do not discuss applicants between themselves. This question came up at Ten Schools Admission’s event, and the answer from the AO’s there was that it is illegal for them to do so. But this would not stop them from speaking to your son’s current school though.</p>

<p>This will be an extraordinarily tough day for many kids and their parents. Be happy with the acceptances you say your son has. Second guessing the process is futile.</p>
<p>Jmilton give what a rest? Choate is a great school. Find another place to be negative.</p>
<p>@mauiluver That’s happened to a lot of people. The school officials are almost too welcoming and warm…and look what happens. Wish they wouldn’t do that - and your daughter can always PM me if she wants! :)</p>
