Hey people, as every1 here knows the fershman seminars at princeton absolutely rockin ! and from what i have heard, u can't afford to miss them. Have you all thought about what you guys are going to apply for??? I am kinda lost in midst of so many choices...and would love to know your choices...

I am leaning towards the followin-
1. Merchants of Venice: Understanding business in premodern world.
2. Modern Financial markets
3. Rocket science!

It depends on what the 05-06 ones are. Among the 04-05s, I really liked Brain: Consciousness and Mind; The Problem of Suffering, An Abiding Thirst: Understanding Poverty and Equality in America; The Tragic, the Comic, and the Political; and Human Dignity in Law and Political Thought. All of those seem so awesome. It'll be hard narrowing the list down, for sure.

There is always some change in Freshman Seminars, but a lot of them are offered every year. At any rate, you should be able to find a seminar to your liking, or not take one at all in the Fall.

gah i have NO idea what i want to take. do we meet with a counselor b4 we pick our first semester classes? man i hope so, otherwise i'm gonna be so lost.

An '08 friend of mine took a seminar fall semester and one spring. So yeah, you can take more than one. And yes, WRI is required for all first-year students.

You can only take one FRS a term and can apply for up to four each term. Theyre a great experience and I sure loved mine (one both semesters, got into two in the spring so I was allowed to pick which one i wanted).
