Choosing a college

<p>Ok, well I am an incoming senior in High School and am some what worried about picking the right college that will help me get into med school. Basically, my question is would going to a state school (University of Nebraska Lincoln or Omaha) hurt my chancings of getting into the University of Nebraska Medical Center for med school. The reason I am worried about this is that UNMC is an extremely tough med school to get into (it was ranked around 20 or so in the US), while UNO and UNL are nowhere near as prestigious. With any luck, I might get guarenteed access to UNMC; however, if I don't, should I try to get into a more prestigious college. </p>
