Choosing a humanities major?

Hi! I’m a rising senior who is interested in philosophy, psychology, or polisci as prospective majors, but my school doesn’t have courses directly related to these fields of study. So far, the humanities courses I’ve taken are AP Lang and AP U.S. History, and I’ll be taking AP French as well as a semester of AP Government next schoolyear (It’s out of my control whether it’s 1st or 2nd semester).

Based on these courses, which of the 3 majors above would I have the best chance of getting into?

it depends where you apply. All these majors are typically in what is called the College of Letters & Science (a University has multiple colleges, such as Engineering, Fine Arts, L&S, etc). At many colleges, such as the UC system in CA, admission to L&S does not take into account your major. So you should look up the admission policies of the places you are considering.

At most schools you wouldn’t need to choose between those three majors until your sophomore year.
