Deciding Between Four Humanities Majors?

Hello,

I recently got into UCLA as a Political Science major, but I am not so sure anymore. I am considering four different majors: Political Science, Economics, Philosophy, and English. To be honest, I am really interested and enjoy learning Philosophy and English, so I believe it only makes sense that I either double major in these subjects or just pursue English with a concentration in Philosophy. However, I am interested in law school after I graduate, and Political Science/Economics have better job prospects than English. I do not know what to do…should I choose the safe route or the route I am most interested in?

Thank you all in advance!

English is a wonderful major before law school, with all that reading and writing…

Take any core requirements (should be the same for all) and courses in those majors to get to know them, the departments, and decide what you like.

This is no one right major for law school. Just pick a major that you would be happy with in the long run.

that’s right, any number of majors works well for law school. Heck, my D switched to a Human Services major in preparation for law school, and I had to Google that to figure out what that was.

Do what you like. There is no guarantee you’ll end up at a law school.
