Choosing a meal plan ...... :)

Thanks for the tip, mom. I will indeed. It is better to have such things on hand, rather than have to find a ride to the mall and hope they have something in your size when you find out you have to dress up for something.

But do kids have to dress up just to go to class? I can’t imagine wearing business casual when it’s ninety degrees outside unless you absolutely have to. But some kids do like that style and find appropriate fabrics so they can have style and withstand the heat.

Anyway, I was more talking about what kids were wearing at Bama Bound and I’m sorry if I was unclear about that.

Sorry to have hijacked the meal plan thread with this. Perhaps it was meant for the what not to wear thread.

I am admittedly ignorant on fashion, so I will keep my mouth shut on this from now on.

Kids don’t “dress up” for class unless they have a presentation and then it’s expected. Kids are rather casually dressed for class…shorts, T’s, polos, jeans, etc.

Lots of kids wear khaki pant and polos with Sperrys to class. Also, a lot of people like the Columbia fishing shirts which are button downs. Oddly enough, it seems that the guys dress up while girls dress down. Obviously, this isn’t true in all cases but you know what I mean.

Like the peacocks at Audubon Zoo, pram.

exactly right

Yes. Lots of khakis with polos. And, some girls is sundresses and flippy skirts.

When I meant “dressing up,” I was talking about the suits/sport coat issue.

Where on myBama is the default meal plan noted on my D’s account? Can’t seem to find that. Thanks!

I think if you go into mybama, go to Student Tab, and then go to “meal plan” (right column), you’ll see the default plan.

Thanks M2CK! It’s that 2nd link under there & I never thought to click through :)
