Choosing a right dorm?

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I'm in at USC and Univ. Miami. I have to choose between the two. How do you know which dorms are good for studying, making friends, partying, meeting new people? I also don't want to live in a crappy room too. USC's rooms all look decent, but I haven't gotten my info from Miami yet.</p>

<p>Try their livejournal communities. Search livejournal to find these (<a href="http://www.livejournal.com%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.livejournal.com&lt;/a&gt;) and maybe make a post asking which is the best.</p>

<p>Also, there's probably floor plans for all the doorms on the school websites somewhere.</p>

<p>You probably would get Stanford/Hecht towers at UMiami. Most freshman do, although there is the exception sometime. The towers are the best place for freshman to meet other people. </p>
